An antique English, highly polished solid figured agate fob; with faceted design, uncut base & gilt metal (possibly very low carat gold) fittings.
Good quality, totally original & very collectable!
CONDITION
: All original and very good. Slight signs of wear and faintest nibbling commensurate with age and use.
DEFECTS
: None.
DATE/MARKS
: Around 1800. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS
: 35 mm tall, base 23 x 20 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 11.4 grams.
